Been looking at changing the car again recently and second hand options vs leasing! Anyway, the B7 S line Special Edition is a bit of a "poor mans" RS4 IMO and all the owner reviews I've found really rave about it. I've always fancied the B7 RS4, but don't have the requisite £20K to buy one or funds to keep it running okay. So, have seen an S Line Quattro Special Edition (the 220 PS one) not too far away with only 42,000 miles on it, but £7600 seems an awful lot for what is close to an 11 year old car with a two litre engine. Anyway, looking for feedback for anyone who has owned or driven one of these. Is it worth it?!

Alternatively, is something like an Octavia VRS a lot better value for money? Half the money of the A4 gets you into a same year VRS Mk2, admittedly with more miles on it....
