Passat B8 Estate Trim Removal

Evening all,

Has anyone ever removed the trim from the boot on the current Passat?

I need to pull it out to install the tow bar electrics but it's pretty stiff, I don't want to break any fixings so just wondering if anyones done it before and has any tips?
