S3 rough gear change and juddery pull away
Discussion
Morning all,
I've just recently bought a 2007 S3.
I've noticed that when I set off in first it requires a certain amount of care and finesse to do so smoothly without the car juddering, it needs some revs and careful use of the clutch, more so than I'd expect. Also, when changing through the gears, the changes are a bit 'notchy'. My first thought was the clutch but it's not slipping and I've read some posts that it might simply be down to a worn dogbone engine mount?
Any advice to smooth out these issues?
Thanks in advance
Dave
