I have the option turned on in the MMI for easy entry and exit which is supposed to move the seat fully backwards and get the steering wheel out of the way. The wheel moves up and in when I turn of the ignition but the seat stays right where it is. The seats are otherwise fully functional. Anyone have ideas?

Car is a 2013 model

My S8 had this, and all I recall it doing is moving the steering wheel. I don't recall it shifting the seat at all, although that was the older model. Are you sure it's supposed to move the seat?

I'll try it on my D4 and report back. I don't have it turned on as in the L322 Land Rovers it used to burn out the steering column motor.

Not 100% sure TBH and I'm away from home at the moment so I can't check. I do seem to recall that it said words to the effect of "moves seat and steering wheel to ease entry and exit". I have an old Jeep and that moves both which does make it easier for the gravitationally challenged to get in and out.
