Audi A6 wheel offset question/problem

Just bought (new fairly budget non-OEM) wheels off eBay for 2008 A6 Avant workhorse to replace 19" OEM's.

Wheels were listed as ET42 but have turned up and are stamped ET38.

4mm doesn't seem much but I was 100% confident ET42 was right and I've no idea if ET38 will work.

Thoughts?

They will sit 4 mm further out, not really a huge difference and may even be preferable from a visual point of view.

Assuming the wheel width is the same. If not, then the difference needs to be taken into account.
