A8 D2 side light bulb replacement

Need to replace the bulbs as one has blown. Had a look today and can't work out to take the holder out. Help please

Need to know which of the 3 different style headlights you have - on the bi-xenons the holder simply pulls out, and the bulb is a push/twist fitting in the holder.

This is what the sidelight bulb holder looks like when off the car - just a push fit



I stripped and refurbished the bi-xenons on my car and modified the reflector to allow decent LEDs to be fitted (required about 1mm removed from the plastic to allow the LED to be removed without dismantling the headlight from the front!

Yup, light wiggle and they should just pop out, assuming the back of the bulb carrier looks the same on yours
