I am considering it, just waiting for my local dealer to get a demo so I can test it.

It's a bit annoying that the Audi website doesn't show prices yet

I believe the Audi.co.uk website is going to be updated on 30 June. I would be very surprised if there will be any demo cars available for a while as dealerships have limited allocations this year.

Bugger, no chance of trying it first then. And then it will have a 12 week waiting list!

I think you will be talking a lot longer than 12 weeks. If there has been a lot of interest from existing RS3 owners, you can probably expect this years allocation to be pretty much pre-sold.
it's possible Audi will do the same with RS3 as BMW did with M2, restricting supply initially to maintain residuals.

It's the RS3 not the S3. As far as I am aware the Golf does not come with a five cylinder engine, so I fail to see the similarity.

Oh OK. I'll avoid it then if you don't like it yourself

I'll get a crappy MX5 instead

I owned a 147GTA once and that was all about the engine...the rest of the car was very average. So I get that it can be all about the engine.

Not saying it's a bad car.....but Haldex will always be its limitation....and it's also why the TT will never be a Cayman/Boxster rival.
