B9 A4 DIS/cluster

Been mooching at B9 A4s online and noticed that some seem to have different clocks.

I know that you can spec the virtual cockpit and the standard DIS is a square screen, but I have seen some that have a screen that wraps around the analogue clocks (like on Touregs)

However I cannot see how you spec this or what option it comes with.

Anyone have any idea? There's no reason other than curiosity really

I believe the bigger screen comes with sport and s-line models its described as 7" colour driver information system (DIS) in the spec list. SE models its described as Driver Information System - 5" monochrome.

Im currently awaiting delivery of my b9 avant.

These are s lines I am looking at.

Example:
This car has the colour 7 inch square screen

I can't find this screen mentioned anywhere on any options but I think it looks much nicer than the square screen

Hard to tell as Audi change the spec of cars so often but currently the configurator shows anything above SE spec as having the better 7" DIS.

I'd agree that the 7" is worth looking out for. I've got the virtual cockpit in my A3 but the 7" DIS seems to be the next best option.

Ahh I see - looks like some s lines have the square screen but colour (which I think is what a6s have as standard)

Wish specs would just be consistant

All the new model s-lines have the 7 inch screen, not sure when the spec changed though exactly.

The spec changes are confusing. We recently bought a Sport spec that was pre-built waiting at port and it has the 7" screen, extra functions on the wheel and twin leather non of it which we expecting it to have.

Technology pack (navigation plus) I believe includes the larger DIS screen so would override on a car where the smaller, monochrome screen was standard.

I thought tech pack was the virtual cockpit?
