Recommendations for refurbed engine supply and fit?

Hi guys my first post here... looking for any recommendations for someone to supply and fit an engine for my audi 3.2 fsi quattro
The timing chain has gone and well i think the only option is refurbished engine. the quotes for just the chain are the same as a refurbed engine (almost)
Im based near Brighton, and am asking because i keep hearing horror stories of bad jobs done, huge extras not quoted for in costs etc.
Im in contact with a company called MKL motors. Does any one have any experience of using them?
They look pretty professional, but well thats on a website!
With the cost being heavy any good ideas gratefully received, unfortunately im still paying for it other wise maybe i would scrap it, but hell i love it! she used to fly...
