long wait over

after owning a second hand RS6 for just over 2 years I decided to order a new one. Today I finally took delivery of her.

it a new performance model with a couple of extras (pan roof, lunar silver leather, Merling purple paint.) must say, I'm over the moon.

My RS6 PE has been sitting at the dealers for the last fortnight, it's daytona with lunar but I can't collect (for various reasons) until later this month and it's hurting now.

Have you watched MrJWW on Youtube? He's in a Merlin/Lunar car and though he's not my cup of tea, his videos are well made and he makes some interesting points about running in, all apparently on the advice of Audi.

Incidentally, I will be applying Nanolex leather and fabric protector when I finally take delivery in an effort to keep the leather looking good, never used before but will try to remember to post my findings if you're interested.

I bought a bottle from Polished Bliss, readily available for @£12 I think but I obviously don't know how effective it will be yet. You spray it on and rub it in with a gloved hand, buff off any residue that gets on plastic asap, then leave it for 24 hours, reapply every few months.
