He's implicating that this topic is going to get less than favourable reviews

you drive a VW diesel that kills the polar bears and the fluffy bunny wabbits and humans. Not content with that you've modified it to be an even bigger pollution machine and now you want some help with a problem.

So let me get this straight you comment useless things for what reason I'm asking for help that's what a forum is and most cars in the world pollute the environment not just one so there for no reason thinking your smart commenting for no reason with no advice please find something better to do with your time.

sean- I'd head over to Briscoda.net , where you will find a more sympathetic and professional response than from the bunny cuddleries on here.

I'd second the above, there's only a couple of people on here who would answer your question without a sarcastic reply.....however if you started a thread on what's the best lease deal for a Golf R, hot Seat Cupra or an Audi S5 (that no one would ever own) you'd be inundated with replies.

Head over to Briscoda.net or join one the facebook Golf MK6 pages as there are plenty of like minded Golf mk6 owners on there and a load of guys who offer really good advice. You won't get anything constructive from here. Pistonheads is a very different place to what it used to be.

Could this be symptoms of failing glow plugs or a dodgy injector. Have you had a look for any fault codes using vcds?

Does it happen when you're not slowing too (at normal speeds when you depress the clutch)?

Could be throttle body related

Difficult.

I'm guessing VW will unlikely want to touch it (or at best suggest reinstating the removed parts before starting).

The garages you've been to, is this within their area of expertise?

Is your tuner a garage or a bloke with a laptop?

Have the garages that have looked at the car told you what codes (if any) the car is throwing?

Were DPF and EGR removed before or after the remap? Does the remap properly cater for this? Did the issue start occurring around the same time a separate modification was carried out?

I'd want to know that the car was running absolutely properly first so if there are any codes relating to parts other than those modified you'll need to explore these. Then you'll want to look at the parts removed and the software dealing with them. Whilst I am not outright blaming your tuner in my experience there are a lot more tuners around than there are tuners that know fully what they're doing. Every man and his dog proclaims himself a DPF removal specialist so the next port of call if there are no outside issues is to speak with your tuner about what they feel could be going wrong. If they don't themselves look at diagnostic work you'll want to speak to a garage with some experience of both diagnostic work and diesel tuning. It could be as simple as lousy ECU software needing a map written properly for your modifications..

I thought the second comment was about the spelling and grammar rather than it being a diesel golf. Guess it depends which issue upsets you the most.

Anyway, the post above seems on the money. It might be some of the glo plugs have failed and the cold start enrichment isn't working properly. This could be software related as above.
Does it run fine when warm?

Look for a good VW specialist in your area.
