Roof bar key for a Golf Mk 4, anyone?
Discussion
Bought some original VW lockable roof bars for our Golf a year ago, I think they're made by Thule. Mrs Blackpuddin put the keys in her famous 'safe place' as a result of which they are now of course totally lost.
Anybody know anywhere in the UK that might offer a replacement key service?
Have done a fair bit of internet digging but no joy.
Vortex referred me to my VW main dealer, they've got nothing but have 'raised a ticket' with head office that I suspect is unlikely to generate a response anytime soon
Selling the car this week and would like to retain the bars for the replacement Golf.
Cheers for any help.

If they are definitely Thule...
Is there any number visible on the lock barrel, or in any of the car's paperwork? Probably N and 3 digits.
Loads of places will sell a new key cut to that number.
Failing that? Drill them out and replace, about £20 for a set.
Edit - Examples,
https://roofracks.co.uk/Thule-Products/Accessories...
https://www.tridenttowing.co.uk/car-travel-touring...
Many others out there.

Thanks for this info, my ebay lead didn't respond so it was very useful to have a fallback, the Roofracks keys were very expensive but Trident does them at more reasonable prices, thanks again.
