S3 Service help
Discussion
My 2013 (63-reg) S3 has decided to tell me that it requires an Oil Service in 30 days. Fine. The car is coming up for 4 years old in December and I would like to know what routine servicing the car should be booked in for.............in addition to the regular oil/filter change. How often is brake fluid changes (every 2 years?) and what about the cambelt?
Car only does 6k per year and currently has 32k on the clock. I believe the car has been serviced annually since new.
Advice welcome.

If on annual it will be minor/major alternate
If should be in for major now which I believe is oil, filter, air filter, pollen filter and possible fuel filter.
Fluid is officially 2 years but but tbh I went to 5 years on my GTD and I didn’t die.
If it’s DSG the oil change is due now as it is 4 years/40k

My Seat service book says DSG 40k, no mention of time at all. Indie said its 4years/40k though, a bit of googling and it seems the early DSG boxes were recommended 4year/40k but then they changed it to just 40k but Indie still advises original timescale.
I'm on 5 years/25k now, maybe wait until 30k.

Any particular reason you why didn't ring the dealer to ask those questions? Would have taken seconds.SuperchargedVR6 said:

Same car, I’m on a 14 plate. I followed the standard minor / major service as part of the service pack in the first 3 years. Car only does 6k per year and currently has 32k on the clock. I believe the car has been serviced annually since new.

At 3 years / 40 k miles it needed
Brake fluid - 3 years
Haldex oil - 3 years
DSG oil - 38k miles
And of course first MOT
To answer a previous post........I did phone my local dealer but they seem unable to "confidently" advise what needs to be done. I purchased the car from a main dealer this time last year (at 3yrs old). The selling dealer gave the car an Interim "oil" service. So reading here, it would appear that the car missed the brake fluid change and the Haldex oil change. I'm just trying to get the car serviced properly.........because that's the way I like my cars. Having all the service records stored digitally by Audi is also something that I'm not a massive fan of. And, in my experience no two main dealers provide the same information.........unfortunately.
