Drive shaft C.V joint on DSG

I have a MK2 Octavia vRS dsg which has a vibration through the car most noticeable between 50-70. I have ruled out wheels & tyres having put on new steelies with winter tyres. My old set were balanced several times, my passengers don't really notice it, but I can feel it. I'm now looking towards the drive line, a quick Google revealed a problem with the inner DSG c.v joint failing? Just wondering if anyone on here with the VAG dsg has had similar and did it cause a wobble/vibration? Thanks PP
