Seat Leon 2017 model - use of an iPod
Discussion
I have a 2017 Leon with Apple car play etc. Works great with my iphone but that only has a 16gb capacity so quite limited what music I put on there.
I also have an old ipod classic with all my music on but when I plug that in to either of the USB ports, I can play tracks but it seems that they're not sorted in anyway so I can just skip from one track to the next rather than look up an album or artist or playlist or whatever. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just the way it is?
And if it is, should I be looking at filling an SD card instead and will it then recognise a folder structure?

Have you considered a 30pin Bluetooth adapter for the ipod classic It will reconise folders of music on a SD card/USB drive
It does seem VAG arent as good supporting older devices i get full control of my old ipod in our clio & my mini
Cheers. Bluetooth not really an option as I still want use of my phone. Idea behind using the ipod was that it would just live somewhere in the car permanently hooked up and charged. SD card probably looking the neatest solution then. It does seem VAG arent as good supporting older devices i get full control of my old ipod in our clio & my mini

I guess my ipod is pretty old now so I can't say I'm too annoyed that it's not supported but would have been nice.
