Audi Emissions Fix

Hi All,

My wife has an Audi that needs an emissions fix, they have told me I can opt out of having it done.

Anyone had it done, any adverse consequences?

I have a VW with the EA189 engine and have mot had it done as in my opinion it's not worth the risk. Although many owners have had no issues after the update, many have.

Previously if you had an issue with the update then would just say tough luck but now St least they will warrant certain items for 24 months from the date of the update under the Building Trust Initiative.

The way I see it there are no upsides to having it done but plenty of downsides.

Sold my audi now - but I binned all the letters about the fix. I'll let the next owner decide whether it's worth doing or not.
