Audi A8 (D3) MMI unit fitting
Discussion
Hello Chaps
My MMI mechanism on the A8 broke the other week and I've sourced a replacement unit [complete] with the 'upgraded' brass cogs fitted. However, in order to fit it, quite a lot of the dash needs to be removed and it's a bit of a hassle to fit.
To clarify, this MMI unit is the one that automatically comes up out of the centre vent in the dash. They are prone to failure due to the use of plastic cogs in their design.
Can anyone on here recommend a reputable garage or even a PH member that may undertake this job?
I am based in East London and don't mind travelling an hour or so in any direction.
Thanks
