Changing car to TTS, opinions, help on equipment levels pls
Discussion
Hi guys
Thinking of changing my B7 Audi S4 convertible to an TTS mk2 (couldnt stretch to the RS unfortunately).
Been doing quite a bit of research (searched the forum here, the buyers guide, some youtube reviews etc)
Think I will be going for the Black edition which if I am not wrong gives the 19in wheels, BOSE system etc.
I just wanted some opinions about the TTS and what type of equipment levels should I expect? As some of them seem a little bare bones!
Have they lost the 6 stack CD player in favour of the AMI or whatever it is called?
Any opinions on the performance? RIde etc?
Cheers
Mike

Fire me a message and I'll send you over PDF of the original brochure so you can have a good look at what was available.
Performance still very good by standards now; it's an S3 with a load of weight ripped out. Surprisingly agile little thing too. I rather like driving them. With mag-ride (standard) they're still firm but less harsh than a standard car without the adjustable dampers. Back seat is a joke but actually makes for a large, practical load area.
Heated seats and mag ride are standard, Bose well worth having as are rear parking sensors. Infotainment starting to feel dated but the navigation can be improved a bit with aftermarket software and bluetooth audio is easily added.

Were heated seats always standard or in from a certain year?
It's often difficult to see on Auto Trader photos but it looks like many cars are missing the buttons on the console.

Anyone selling a TTS soon on here? :-)
I fancied a TTS next but have had to defer due to other commitments and always fancied a MK1, so got one of those but the TTS is still on my radar, dont worry if it doesnt have navigation, for £250 and a couple of hours, fit one of these, way better than 2009 systems, if you can live with generic, non Audi systems that is, appareciate not everyone likes Android.
