Upgrade front disc on my little A3 8v 1.4tfsi

Hi, just come across some A3 8V S3 front brake disc for sale and I'm interested if these will fit on my A3 8v 1.4tfsi.

Someone said my diameter of brake disc are 312 and the S3 are 340. If its not going to be a straight swap what about if I need to buy any adaptors?

Sorry I know very little about brakes and I just want to give the front a bit of a spruce up without going OTT.

Don't think the front discs on your car will be as big as 312mm. Try this guide:

What size wheels do you have?

I ask because I had an A3 3.2 which had the larger 345mm front discs and with 17" wheels there was very little clearance between caliper and wheel - definitely wouldn't fit on a smaller wheel.

Otherwise I would guess that the discs would probably interchange but, presumably you would also need the caliper mounting brackets and maybe even the calipers?

I've got 19" on my wheels.

So from what you guys know I need 312mm diameter rotor disc and really can't have anything up without doing loads of custom work?
