Hello
My 2.0 B6 A4 started playing up last night, wouldnt start, then eventually started but will not rev over 2.5K, hunting up and down the rev counter and just very jerky. Ive used my shareware version of the diagnostic tool and I get these error:
P1519 CamShaft Adjustment Bank 1 Implausible Signal.
I clear this and it comes back immediately once I got it started again. Ive left it at home today because its not safe to drive.
Am I correct in thinking/hoping all I need to start with is the Crankshaft sensor cable or could I be looking at a whole list of other items?
Car is on 222K and only need to last until February so hoping for an easy or quick fix I can do outside my house.
