Hi all

Considering buying one of these, and the two I'm looking at are both around the 50k mileage.

Are there any owners on site of the Q7 3.0 TDI and if so how do you rate them overall?

I'm guessing 52k miles in these machines is nothing so wont even ask that question, but how do you find them power wise as appreciate its a 3.0 but its a pretty big machine?

Thanks in advance.

The 3.0 is perfectly "adequate" - particularly the second generation engine but even the original is fine.
The 4.2 is significantly more responsive at minimal additional running costs - it really suits the car.

52k is nothing on these if they're looked after. The interior doesn't stand up well to abuse though - so look for one that has been looked after by its previous owner(s). I know several people (including me) who were single owners racking up 100k+ miles over many years and were well maintained. There are plenty around so wait until a good one comes up. Dealers love to put big wheels and side steps on these, but they run best on 20s.

I'm on my second one now, both 3.0 and perfectly suitable for the car with enough pick up and go.

They are very spec sensitive especially on the outside so take your time when looking. I couldn't believe the amount of them that didn't spec heated seats and nav with MMI 3G - crazy.

It's to get the headline rate for PCP/CH/Lease

Maybe, but they would have keyless or panoramic roof, cruise control but not a few hundred pounds worth of extra confused
