I’m presuming it’s just the high idling and the increased engine noise you are worried about? I have a VW Polo 1.6 TDI which will raise the rpm and sound like a 20 year old tractor when it does a DPF regeneration. Does this every 200 miles or so

I dont think you can hear it in the video but theres a high pitched noise when it goes above 1200rpm

Not sure I can hear it, It does sound a little rough though...

Taking it back to the dealer in the week. only had the thing a week! hoping theres nothing to far wrong once you notice that high pitched noise you cant unnotice it and it drives you insane lol

Is it brand new? Or is that 225 Miles just the trip meter? Good luck...! I’m about to ditch my VW Diesel, it’s regenerating the DPF far too often and moving to town soon so commute is literally 2 miles.!

its 2nd hand circa 24000 miles fully serviced just the last week

Must be something to do with the service then... has it been leaking oil? Have you checked the dip stick?
