A5 3.0 tdi time up

Hi there,
I am about to buy a 20098 A5 3.0 tdi Quattro and what to spend around £1000 on a tune up. Where in Scotland is the best place to go and any ideas what I might get for my money?

Do you mean the American use of the phrase 'tune up' or the English 'service'?

If you want more oomph out of it a stage 1 remap from a reputable tuner is all you need; spend the rest of the budget on the best tyres you can afford and a proper 4 wheel alignment.

Yep I was looking for a bhp’s,
A remap will be a good start, would changing the exhaust system make any difference?

To power? Not really. Most people with those are plenty happy with just a remap, it makes a good difference. If you want to go considerably faster you may as well buy an S5 (although hybrid turbos etc. are available if you want to go nutty).
