RS6 wheels question
Discussion
Looking to replace my wife's Disco4 with an RS6 (sensible daily driver...). Looking at C7's.
Do 19" wheels fit on an RS6 - we definitely don't want 21's so would either go 20's (which I know are sometimes seen) or 19's if they fit (and as it happens I have a set of A6 LeMan's 19's in the garage) as we know from experience with the Maserati that a bit more tyre profile (as long as its a quality tyre) improves the ride a lot on UK roads and all you really give up is theoretical and unusable top end performance.
For context, the car won't be tracked, won't be driven on the continent and the RS6ness will basically be used for sprints off the lights and embarrassing Porkers on the motorway.

I would be very surprised if 19s fit - the offset will be way out too I expect.
20s are a lovely looking wheel (dished concave), forged, surprisingly light and very strong. Ride better on them too. Not many cars have them and hard to find on eBay etc. 21s look more bling but are cast rather than forged and prone to buckling.
C7 RS6 is probably the best car I have ever owned - sooo much better than wooden handling earlier versions (though the V10 engine was a cracker).

^^^ This.
I had the C7 RS6 with the 21" wheels and air suspension and the ride was extremely good. However, for 6 months of the year I ran 20" wheels and winter tyres and the ride improved even further. A lot of the C7 RS6s you'll find will have the DRC replacing the air suspension, which if you end up tracking it would probably be great, but I never felt the handling of the car was compromised on the standard air suspension on our roads.
It's an incredible car and will happily rearrange your internal organs from standing starts and embarrass pretty much 99.999% of cars you'll meet on the motorway. I loved mine but in the end decided it was much more car than I needed so I swapped into a RS3 which is a fantastic little car, despite the motoring journalists fascination with oversteer.
Anyway, enjoy the RS6 when you get it!
