Anyone running Matrix Laser lights?
Discussion
Might be a tall order as think there currently only on the new A8 and R8, but looking to order the new shape A7.
On S-Line come standard with Matrix LED, but can step up to Matrix laster headlights for just over £1k which isn't too bad considering seeing as I've probably paid excess of that on each of my last cars for the upgraded headlights which were just to adaptive & high beam assist. As spend 6 months of the year driving at night usually the first option for me. Seems a far more sensible price as they've been about £3k-5k more than LED's previously so now in my price range.
Just curious as to if they are that much better than LEDs? Information is vague at best as only really the manufacture video's and can't find any onboard driving one.
Also, does anyone know how Audi's matrix LED or Laser lights fair in Europe? Biggest disappointment with the 5 Series is the european driving mode doesn't allow for the matrix style adjusting lights when driving on the right hand side of the road and only on our native UK left hand side(selective beam on bimmer). Might be a standardised thing for all manufactures due to being on the other side of the road drive market, but hoping it's just BMW as their headlight technology is a bit behind.

Also available on the new RS4 (and maybe other models in the A4 range too)?On S-Line come standard with Matrix LED, but can step up to Matrix laster headlights for just over £1k which isn't too bad considering seeing as I've probably paid excess of that on each of my last cars for the upgraded headlights which were just to adaptive & high beam assist. I am very impressed with the high beam assist on my wife’s Audi S1, and I’m sure that the matrix light system will be far superior to that.
At £1k it would be rude not to!
