DAs Welt Auto warranty
Discussion
Just been having a chat with a Skoda dealer who’s selling a 2015 VW Touareg which I’m interested in, now he’s told me it’s being sold as Das Welt Auto approved but only comes with a 3 month warranty, apparently Das Welt Auto cars no longer come with a 12 month warranty. The car I’m interested in is a June 2015 car so has a few months manufacture warranty left & they seem to be passing that off as the 3 month warranty.
Can Skoda sell a VW under the Das Welt Auto scheme??
I’ve just looked online & the VW site is still saying used cars come with a 12 month warranty, I’ve told him I’m no longer interested as it stands & he’s gone to see what he can do. Im 200 miles away from the car so I’m relying a lot on what I’m being told & he’s sowed seeds of doubt about trust in my head.

The VW extended warranty is pretty good and pretty reasonable cost wise of bought just before the manufacturer's warranty expires. I would try and negotiate to have them put 12 months comprehensive warranty on the car starting from when the manufacturer's warranty expires or find out the cost and have them discount the car by the amount so you can buy yourself.
