Which engine have you gone for? We’re on our second Leon (Xcellence spec) and normally have the 184 diesel but that and the 150 have both now been stopped so we’ll be having the 150 petrol next time.
What colour have you gone for?
I've gone for the 125 Petrol (1.4 TSI) as i didn't want the 16Wk wait of a factory order for a 150 and to get a 150 from a main dealer is no easy task, especially if you want a specific configuration. What colour have you gone for?
Had extensive test drives and the engine performs very well, surprised me to be honest.
Colour option, I tried to get away from the bog standard 5 or 6 colours you see flooding the forecourt and opted for a metallic silvery which almost has a light blue pearlescent tint to it. Looks nice.
Pick it up Saturday morning.

Yep, Urban Silver rings a bell.
I've currently got an aged and rapidly failing BMW 3 series M Sport touring, so the wait for a factory order wasn't an option for me. I had to get shot.
And as a bonus, wifey loves the new purchase as well.
Win win.
What a coincidence ! I’m getting shot of my rapidly failing BMW 3 Series Sport Coupe and picking up a Leon FR SC on Saturday ! I'm on my second mk3 FR - first was a diesel 150, this one is the same as yours, the 1.4 125 - it's not as quick or as economical, but not by too much. I was getting mid 50s mpg long term in the diesel, now getting high 40s in this one.
The typical early mk3 problems of rattly door trim, water in the tail lights and missing wheel nut covers seem to have been fixed for the facelift version. The current car does seem to have harsher suspension than the previous one though - or it could be tyre related (Hankook now, v Pirelli on the first one).
What else? The new larger display is harder to use as you have to swipe to scroll or zoom in and out whereas the earlier version had dedicated buttons. The piano black trim inside is really easy to scratch. Long service intervals, cheap insurance, well equipped, the last one had no mechanical faults in 30K miles, I'd expect this one to be the same.
This is my fourth SEAT, I like them - I'd definitely get another.
