Polo 9N3 Engine Swap Ideas

I want to do a cool swap in my 9n3, probably a 1.8t, but i'm not sure whats going to fit in such a small bay. any ideas/suggestions? tia

1.8t would be the best bet but you can pick up a 9N3 Polo gti for much cheapness nowdays already has the 1.8t ect.

i have considered just getting a gti, but i think a AUM/BAM Swap would be more unique and their are longer lasting, stronger, and just generally better engines

Clearly as the GTI comes with a 20vt the engine from factory we know it fits. have you heard , the phrase dont build what you can buy.l?

I wouldn't get too excited by an AUM as that is a 9.5:1 compression ratio ko35 turbo engine that barely offers anything over a BJX Polo engine, the BAM has lower compression and a ko4 turbo is a better start but for a "unique" build a 20vt isnt anything ground breaking and in my opinion not that great an engine.

The more unique end of swaps are R32 vr6s, 2.0tfsi, 2.0 16v turbo/supercharged, twin charged 1.4, 1.4tsi or a 2.5t 5 cylinder
