Looking for new car... bit of advice

So you might of saw my other post, current owner of a 2009 twin charged 1.4 TSI..... an engine to avoid

I am on the look for new car, are there any other engines I should avoid like the plague? Is it all TSI's or is it only my one thats bad? I see alot of newer cars also have TSI engines in them, so I feel abit skeptical not knowing the facts

Alternatively, feel free to recommend me some nice cars similar to Mk6 Golf I had, as I do like that car..
