AUDI TT TFSI 2007 CONVERTABLE MANUAL BOOT RELEASE FAIL!

Hey guys. So
My gf went through a carwash and then tried to fill her car up ...the key wouldn't open the petrol filler cap or the boot.
The buttons inside the car also do not open the boot or petrol cap.
The manual release in the centre console has no movement and almost seems jammed.
Have bounce on the boot still no movement.
Had electrics diagnostic ran. All ok ... apparently...
So question is. A1. How do we get the boot open... any panel we can take off to get there ?
Have done battery reset.. or so aa claimed.
Read things about a control module ? Where is it located and wouldn't it show as faulty?
Just need help. Or ideas. This car is worth 7.5k but right now is useless as we cannot fill it or get into the boot... please help!!!
