A6 c6 3.0tdi, engine warning light on startup but no faults?
Discussion
Hi all,
I have just fixed an issue on my A6 c6 today which was 'coolant fan 1 short to ground', I got under the car and cleaned out the connector and now the fan is spinning happily as it should (I think).
However, I have this pesky engine warning light which comes up when I turn on the ignition. As soon as I start the engine it goes away. I thought it was something to do with the fan fault code, but now I've fixed that and the warning light still comes on when I turn the ignition.
I've gone for a short drive and pulled the codes using carista, and have zero fault codes.
Is that light on ignition normal for these cars? Any other Audi TDi's out there doing a similar behaviour? It's making me think there is still something wrong.
