Hi everyone I recently purchased a MK4 golf 1.8t and am looking at putting in some Porsche front brakes has anyone done this can give me some advice/feedback/best calipers/discs to use any advice would be much appreciated cheers

996turbo front callipers on R32 discs with brackets easily available on ebay/creation motorsports website.

That seems to be the most common setup.

Cheaper to run the Brembo setup off a Leon Cupra R though, £300 should get you the callipers and carriers and the 323mm discs are much cheaper than genuine R32 disc.

You can actually get this kit, with lines/carriers/bolts and you just need to add the calipers/discs and it all bolts up, and maybe spacers depending on your wheel choice/offset.

Only £230 for the j hook vagbrem ones.

They are expensive because they are proper 2 piece floating discs.

But yes as posted there are options for the same spec discs that are cheaper if you look around.

Ok cheers I think will look into that really want some big calipers and discs at the front

Been looking into this further would love some front Porsche calipers but I think I will make more financial sense to maybe go with cupra r brembos

So have got a brand new 312mm set up for the front drilled discs ebs new pads carriers and new sliding pins but don't know if I want to sell that set up because really want some porsche brakes don't know what to do???
