Went to garage to fill up, car petrol light just come on so still had fuel. Filled the tank up, went to start it and nothing. Car was turning over but wouldn't start.

Finally got it started after 7 or 8 tries then the engine management light came on! Drove it home which is about 10 miles no problem. Turned ignition off and tried to start but it still wont start first time.

Any ideas?

Cheers

You'll need to get the codes read. It could be anything from a failing fuel pump (or relay) to leaking injectors or fuel pressure regulator.

You sure it’s not a diesel?

If not, another member will be along shortly with his crystal ball.

Ignore, somebody always says that to a newbie, they haven't got a clue what's wrong with your car but feel the need to post something smile
