new shape RS6 Avant advice please?
Discussion
Hi All,
Im considering a RS6 Avant as my next car, seems to be such a good all rounder, I currently have a Maserati Gran Cabrio and BMW estate and as Im not driving the Maser much at all, Im thinking to chop them both in and get a decent RS6 Avant and just wanted to gather some thoughts from owners. I was watching a review and he said when changing the pads the calipers also needed to be changed as the pads couldnt be changed without new calipers, got a £4k bill. So just wondering if this was just because there was a fault here, or is that normal?
Also, anything to look out for and anything known to be 'an issue' and expensive I should look out for? Now Ive had Masers for 4 years and had TVRs for 6 years, so I'm aware big engines normally means big bills, just checking what if anything I should look out for.
Also, apart from the obvious any colours to avoid and whats generally thought of as the best colour combination?
Thanks guys looking to start looking soon.
Cheers
Mike

You often need discs with pads as they are heavy on brakes - around 25 - 30,000 miles a set for most.Gassing Station | Audi, Seat, Skoda & VW | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
