2016-2018 TT sat nav with Apple CarPlay

I can’t quite find out how sat nav is displayed on a TT that doesn’t have any native sat nav (it’s part of the optional Tech Pack), but where you’re using CarPlay. Does it use the full Virtual Cockpit, or just a small part of it?

Yeah it uses the Virtual Cockpit display and fills it reasonably well, see photo below

Worth keeping in mind that the retrofit cost for CarPlay is about the same as just adding Sat Nav. If from the factory you would have them both together
