Need to find some xenon bulbs for a facelift A6 C6 2009 with adaptive headlights. Costs around £180 from dealer per bulb for Philips D3S 42V 35W bulbs. Any recommendations for other bulbs?

Update: bought a pair online. Philips XenStart/XenEcoStart are the OEM offerings. I believe the XenStart are 4350K, D3S 35W 42V. Philips part number is 9285304244(XenEcoStart)/9285304244S(XenStart). A6 C6 Facelift with adaptive headlights and automatic beam adjustment come with the OEM part number for the bulb as N10721801.

How much did you get them for?

£80 for the pair. OEM but not in an Audi box, new condition.

The original Osram in mine had started to play up (light output reduced and then cutting out and re-igniting every few minutes). Took a chance and bought some unbranded ebay D3S jobs for £25 a pair and they have been working fine so far. Hardest bit is fitting them!

Have the same issue, there is definitely reduced light intensity in both, one is starting to look a bit purple. Luckily (or unluckily) car is going in for bodywork so will get them to fit them for me, as well as OEM Audi LED number plate lights that I got that were from Germany's Audi Zentrum Göttingen. They were expensive too at about £40 after translation but hoping that they will do the job as they are OEM Audi and will have the perfect light intensity, with hopefully no issues. Problem is the number plate carrier screws are buggered so will have to get them to remove the old number plate lights as well.
