As title please

The sport mode is useless and there's no ability to paddle downshift!

I doubt it's a DIY but there are tuning companies that do; Revo, MRC etc. at least they do for later versions so I would think they do for older models.

I had an A3, 3.2 DSG which would have been one of the first models and I agree with your Sport mode comment, it was always revving it's nuts off and so pretty much useless although mine did have the paddles/manual option.

The DSG have improved though because Sport mode on my S4 is actually pretty good, keeps the revs up but nothing silly.

Is it the 3.2? Only this has DSG. The other models use a tiptronic torque converter auto box.

A TCU remap should be the first mod on any DSG car, just to delete the annoying auto upshift (even in manual mode), let alone anything else!

Just to update this thread

The car was transformed! Shifts were now pretty much instant, like a modern DSG / DCT
