ESC fault - advice

Hi,

Recently I have been getting a warning that says “Esc fault, see owner manual” on my Audi 8P however it is intermittent and happens once every 5 starts or so. It also resets my car as if the battery was disconnected.

Is it likely to be the battery that’s the issue? Any advice would be much appreciated!

Get the fault codes read first of all and see what it throws up, but I'd definitely get the battery checked out by AA/RAC if you can.
