R8 V8 interior colour sensitive ?

I see there's an R8 keenly priced on the AUC site but it has chesnut audi exclusive interior with daytona grey paint. Is this the reason it's keenly priced ?
It has a good level of spec, rear camera, B&O etc.
Might contribute but until you see it up close, hard to tell specifically. It has a good level of spec, rear camera, B&O etc.
Could be missing service history, body work or alloy damage too - front is prone to chips as it's perpendicular to the road.
B&O was an option on the V8, standard on the V10 but rarely do you see an R8 without it. Rear camera was an option on both and IMHO, a key desirable.
Post a link and we'll inspect some more :-)

OK, IMHO the main things going against it are:a) the mileage is quite high vs age
b) grey isn't the most popular colour (but neither is it the least appealing)
c) painted calipers aren't everyone's taste
d) interior is quite rare and not to everyone's taste
However you will pay a premium buying from an Audi dealership but it'll come with a good warranty.
You could pick up an early V10 for the same price from a private seller with the same mileage.

I would think it's average mileage for a typical car of that age ? registered Jan 2015 - 10k miles a year = 45k ?
I'll look into it a little further. With the starting figure being low and the GFV being good after 3 or 4 years the PCP calcs are attractive on it aswell.
I did note the tyres which isn't great especially for an AUC. each MOT pulled the NS front and rear tyres up for wear, along with a petrol cap seal that was cracked ?

Maybe for a normal car, for a supercar I'd say 10k PA is generally high. However as a supercar, R8's are very reliable so of no concern really.I'll look into it a little further. With the starting figure being low and the GFV being good after 3 or 4 years the PCP calcs are attractive on it aswell.

I've had my tyres for 2 1/2 years, even wear across all so this issue is likely to be balancing rather than anything else. Petrol cap seal isn't common and possibly down to owner damage - no much to replace either.

... and who fits Uniroyal tyres to an R8!!
I'm a little surprised Audi are selling it with these tyres as I've heard they can be a bit funny when not fitted with their recommended P ZerosTrev450 said:
You are quite correct in that they don't like some brands of tyres, but although they 'work' on P Zeros they are far from the best available. Michelin PS4S are streets ahead imo and Continentals and Goodyears also better than the Pirellis.
Yes, I've read that. P Zeros on mine at the moment (with no complaints) but I've always had PS4s on my other cars and they'd always be my preferred choice.PompeyReece said:

That was my comment above, it's probably viewed as high for an R8 but not for the usual.I've had my tyres for 2 1/2 years, even wear across all so this issue is likely to be balancing rather than anything else. Doesn't sound like mileage affects them going by some googling, couldn't find a definitive answer on the 4.2 V8 coking and if the R8 is affected ?
