Anyone know OU13 ZHO (R8 V10) ?

My brother is thinking of buying an R8 V10... the car is for sale via an independent dealer.

Just checking here in case anyone knows OU13 ZHO ? Looks v nice but has a black roof, which i think must be a vinyl wrap as i don't think Audi offered black roofs on the cars as an option (?).

Looks like it has a GT rear bumper piece and the back R8 badge looks a bit low. I'd certainly be digging into the history / provenance as best I could.

A pound to a penny its an audi car, maybe not press, maybe driver experience car or some such.

Just spoke to Audi. Serviced in June 15 but no other records so may have been at an independent garage subsequently.

Not if it's been in the dealer's hands for that time.

To add to this, OV and OY were normally used for Press duty cars, OU were 'experience day' cars, so tread carefully, this might have led a very hard early life.

Having said that, it might have just been registered in the same Oxford area, and be a private owner car.

The last information Cazana has for it, is that it was last advertised for sale in Jan 2017, and therefore probably owned by it's last owner since then. 3 owners at the time

Yes, likely it was registered by manufacturer with that plate. Audi register cars for a great many reasons and it's not normally anything to worry about.

It's a pretty basic spec in a colour that may not be for everyone, with some additions that (to my eyes) further detract, and from the limited amount I can see in the photos wanting for a knowing inspection of bodywork before considering going any further.
