Touran 1.6 TDI DSG Buying Advice

Hi,

I am considering a VW Touran 1.6TDI DSG (2011 onwards) for my wife. She has a recently passed her test and has an auto only licence.

I’ve generally heard good things about the touran as a family car and the 1.6 TDI engine. However, Im unsure of the gearbox. Does this have the mechatronic issues? What should I look out for when buying to make sure the DSG is not on about to throw an expensive bill?
