tyre damage - advice wanted
Discussion
Hi all, new user - hoping to get some advice from some of the wise heads in this forum!
Long story short, had to aggressively swerve out of the way of an oncoming vehicle involved in a police chase yesterday, and in the process over steered into the kerb - hitting the kerb was the better option, but still not happy as I've managed to damage my front tyre.
I was wondering if anyone could take a look at this photo and tell me if they think this is serious enough to require replacing?
Also, yes the alloys are in an horrendous state I know - bought the car on Saturday, so not my doing (tyres are brand new, which is annoying)! (May have them repaired if its a reasonable cost, but have not really looked into it yet).
Car is a 57 plate A3 S-line.
Thanks in advance for any advice!
