Pulsing Noise Under Rear Drivers Side Seat Audi TT MK3 1.8

Hi,

I have noticed recently there is a pulsing vibration sound coming from under my rear drivers side seat. It is more apparent after driving for 5 minutes or so. I can only hear it when stopped due to road noise when driving. My first thought is something to do with the fuel system? If I put my ear to the seat it is very loud. Also only noticed it since the colder months which may have an impact?

Please let me know if anyone has had anything similar to this. Car is under warranty until April so would preferably like to get is fixed before then.

Fuel Pump is back there isnt it? You can here it prime itself when you unlock the car

Hi thank you for your reply. What would the prime sound like? It is more like a pulsing with a 1 second gap after driving for a shirt while. Could be exhaust related also.
