C7 RS6 squealing brakes
Discussion
I have a 16 plate RS6 performance with exceptionally noisy brakes.
As I’m sure many C7 RS6 owners will attest to the front brakes on light touch squeal louder than all the little piggies combined, embarrassing as 90% of that sort of use is in town, car parks, traffic etc where you seem to deafen all around you.
Has anyone ever managed to resolve this? My understanding is it’s due to the pad compound but are there any decent aftermarket pads that do as good, if not better, a job as OEM that don’t squeal?
I’ve got loads of life in the discs and pads but if I can change pads only and solve this it would be money well spent.

Have you tried chamfering the edges of the pads?As I’m sure many C7 RS6 owners will attest to the front brakes on light touch squeal louder than all the little piggies combined, embarrassing as 90% of that sort of use is in town, car parks, traffic etc where you seem to deafen all around you.
