Audi Q7 order timframe

Hi All

We placed an order for our Q7 towards the end of October and we're hoping we can collect it in March. However, I would have thought we would have a build week by now, but nothing yet only the the 'Order has been accepted' on the tracker... The dealer is advising me that they only recently started taking on new orders for the Q7 which is why there is a delay. Is anybody else experiencing the same with their Q7 order?

I took over an order for a 50 Tdi Black Ed C&S pack that a dealer placed early Sept, it was originally estimated to be at the dealer 2nd December, but has been sat at Ebden for 2 weeks at this point, the dealer is hoping it’ll be ready for me prior to the new year.

I had an A7 on order (also placed late October) before this which the tracker said wouldn’t be built until April and hence I cancelled it, i can still see it’s progress and I’ve noticed that it’s build date had changed 3 times both closer and further, now it is showing as being built this coming week...

Given how long your build time is I’m guessing you’ve a big batch of options?

Thanks for your response. I've not heard about there being issues with glue, but I wouldn't be surprised as things are moving very slowly.

The car I've ordered is just a standard MY2020 S-line 50tdi.
