All,

Looking at a c2010 s4.

Just wondering if the adaptive settings, particularly suspension, is worth seeking out?

Any advice appreciated.

Damping control is pretty good, yes; in its comfort seting they ride better than any normal A4 this side of an Allroad.

Ok great thanks for the response. Need to know it’s gonna be comfy on crap roads and speed bumps. Will try to find one with ADS.

ADS comes in many flavours - be sure to check the individual settings to make sure damper control is listed (and any of the other options eg steering, rear diff)

The ride on our S5 on 20s is pretty good without adaptive damping - I do wish it had it, but given the age of the cars you can always go for a KW DDC kit when the dampers start leaking
