Golf mk4 remap???

Hi there am looking at getting my mk4 golf 1.8t remapped am in the Woking area anyone got any suggestions thanks

Also has anyone got any experience of remapping the aum engine code also got some supporting mods ie custom exhaust induction kit r8 coils run on 99 octane fuel

You're in Woking, have you not heard of AMD tuning, very popular vw specialist who build/tune engines and have been offering remaps for 20vt engines for 20years.

They can definitely sort you regardless of the nature of your AUM plus Ko35 turbo an other mods.

Worth having a browse through the r-tech site to, they are also highly regarded in the 20vt tuning world an have a lot of useful info on different upgrades

Personally with ko3/35 era turbos a upgraded intercooler, intake piping, downpipe and remap is about the sensible limit at around 260-280hp. Beyond that if you crave over 300hp you need to ditch the Borg Warner KO turbos and go for the likes of a IHI, td05, GTX garret or Holset

You sound like you know your stuff i have a front mount intercooler which i need to fit and a intake pipe but they are a pig to fit

Ive been told that its easier to do a gearbox swap than fitting that intake pipe
