2.0 tsi VAG petrols still have oil use problem?

Do the later Skoda, Seat,VW 2.0 tsi models still use the EA888 engine if so do they still drink oil?
If different engine or cured when are they safe from?

I believe the Gen 3 EA888 engines are fine. So anything 2012 onwards.

my Gen 3 EA888 (CJXA Cupra 280) hardly used any even pushing Stage 2 420ps.
