What's this button do? (2019 Golf steering wheel)

The one to the right of SET, above the volume +. On older VWs I think it used to be Mode (i.e. switch between Adaptive Cruise and Speed Limiter function), and I'm hoping it's still that, just with a weird symbol, because speed limiter mode is useful to me.
I did look at the owner's manual, but no joy.

If you can't see the image, the symbol is a car seen end-on, surrounded by a sort of circle of broken lines.

Enabled or disabled the lane control type systems. It in the other side of the wheel on my Skoda.

I think the old Ford/Renault approach of having the volume buttons on a stalk behind the steering wheel is ergonomically superior. The buttons are always in the same place, and you get to use your fingers rather than your thumb.

You generally get them with new cars. Most of us would expect one to come with an older car too!

P.S when you find out, please do let us know! My 2017 Golf doesn’t have that button I don’t think.

Not distance set for ACC.

It will take you to a menu with options for the safety assist systems. So you can select what you want working, ACC, Lane assist etc.

VW controls always seem an after thought. Our Golf we just sold had stupid third stalk cruise control switching.
