MMI crashes / freezes alot 2020 Audi

I have an A4 2020 and I find the MMI crashes / freezes nearly every journey, doesn't seem to be a specific action that will do it but random, for example I tried turn off the main screen today and it just hung saying 'press x to reopen' but that didn't work, turn on and off the car still bust left it for 20mins seemed ok restarted but wouldn't still turn off, had to do a factory reset. This is first new Audi I've had with MMI I've got no idea if its generally sh*t and acts like this or the version I have is bust ?

It’s a shame to hear this. Their older non touch screen is just as bad. I can only suggest you call Audi and see if there are any software updates available. I’m coming off the lease or buy new wagon now. I find most of my recent problems with cars have been related to the virtual cockpit, fancy speaker systems with vibrating grills, auto pre- sense systems, alarms and other alerts on the dash telling me certain features are not currently available. I dread to think what these will be like to fix in a few years after the warranty! Hope you get it resolved
